As the hours grew into days, and the weeks turned into months, Caitlin’s grief gradually morphed into resiliency. She dove headfirst into pursuits that not only made her happy but also gave her a sense of control over her life. She started going to yoga lessons and discovered that the discipline of mindfulness and introspection brought her a sense of peace. She also began writing in a journal, where she would pour out her thoughts and feelings onto the pages and find release through the therapeutic act of writing.
