Gwen
Gwen is one of the top butcher shops and restaurants in Los Angeles. Curtis and Luke Stone, Australian brothers, created the restaurant/shop hybrid. Chef Curtis’ second venture, however, follows the success of his first, the acclaimed eatery Maude. Local duck rillette and black pudding terrines are among the Australian inspirations in the butcher chop. The restaurant has a similar primordial ambiance, which is offset by enormous chandeliers.

The Precinct (Cincinnati)
The Precinct is America’s highest-rated steakhouse, according to USA Today and Gayot.com. When it comes to service, Jeff Ruby, the restaurateur who notoriously turned away high-profile personalities like O.J. Simpson from his locations, is in a class by himself. Customers can expect an up-close exhibition of some of the restaurant’s most famous dishes, now dubbed “The Jeff Ruby Experience.” For instance, flambeéd Baked Alaska and tossed and sautéed alfredo.
