Timothy had not had the simplest of starts to life, despite the best attempts on her part. Teresa’s friendship with Timo’s father, Bjorn, was a major factor in this development. Despite the fact that she had loved Bjorn, things had begun to fall apart between them long before Timothy was born. Timo had been born as a result of unintentional pregnancy, and Bjorn did not want to parent the child because he felt he was not ready.
