Difficult to say goodbye
Everyone pledged once more that they would never discuss the transaction with anyone else, and the three tiger cubs were immediately loaded into the truck that belonged to the owner of the zoo. It was obvious that the golden retriever, whose name Mark had given her, Meg, was having a difficult time saying goodbye to the cubs. It was clear that it had formed a bond with the tiger cubs.

When Mark finally succeeded in putting the animal on a leash and began walking it home, the dog did not stop wailing the entire way. Even after the owner of the zoo had driven away with the tiger cubs, it steadfastly refused to move. Mark had no chance of persuading Meg to change her position in any way.
