Too Focused
Thomas immersed himself even more into his career after his wife’s unexpected death. He picked up other people’s shifts and worked many double shifts in a succession. People started to worry about the young doctor, but he was so brilliant at his work that they couldn’t say much. Thomas scarcely registered any negative emotions when he learned of his father’s death because he had previously lamented his father’s loss for years.
