Despite the fact that Caitlin loved her husband very much, the thought of having to look at him after what he had done made her sick to her stomach. It was impossible for her not to wonder how much of what he stated was actually accurate. And because of that, she started to have doubts about their entire relationship. When did he stop loving her? Or was she simply viewing their relationship through a rosier lens than it actually was?

Caitlin did, however, harbor a glimmer of hope buried deep within her heart. She considered each and every option that they had available to them in order to get out of the predicament that they were in. And hoped fervently that they would be able to overcome the challenge. Sadly, as more time passed, she lost more and more hope with each passing day. And the love that she had felt was gradually changed into something much more painful. This became clear to her one night after she made the mistake of looking at something she shouldn’t have.
