Despite Cliff’s agreement with Mallory’s theory, Allan was skeptical. Throughout their journeys, they had encountered a variety of species in a variety of settings. It wasn’t an unusual sighting, so they were perplexed as to why Allan wouldn’t let it go. Allan simply got a hunch that something was off about the theory. He didn’t think it moved like a seal, and after examining closer with binoculars, the other two concurred.
