Raquel met her fourth husband, L.A. restaurateur Richard Palmer, in 1997. Palmer was engaged at the time, but he left his fiancee to be with Welch. The actress was 15 years Palmer’s senior, but it didn’t stop them from marrying in 1999. Their marriage lasted nine years before it ended in 2008.
