Just as John was about to respond to Sarah’s query, a huge truck sped past. “Where are you?” Sarah enquired, perplexed. “Oh, just out, you know?” John dithered. He swiftly shifted the conversation. “Yes, I definitely want to talk. How about tomorrow after work? I’ll come by your house.” “Uhm, alright I-” “Alright, bye,” John interrupted her and hung up.

John thought as he sped home, “That was a close one.” He almost accidentally caught Sarah being spied on, which would not look good. He felt like he could finally breathe again when he arrived home. He would learn what was going on with Sarah and who that unidentified woman was tomorrow.
