John, though, was then nearly discovered. Because John’s phone wasn’t on mute when Sarah picked up her phone and dialed his number. He immediately fled from Sarah before she could notice him as his ringtone resounded throughout the park. As soon as he felt the situation was under control, he picked up the phone.

Sarah introduced herself to John in a hesitant voice. Despite being out of breath from racing, John made an effort to appear shocked by her call. “Hi, Sarah,” he said as calmly as possible. “I’m sorry for ignoring your text and leaving you like that yesterday.
