If there’s one thing the internet can’t get enough of, it’s a sarcastic response to a post. This person took to the internet to express her displeasure with the use of the name Karen to characterize persons. They specifically called it “name shaming” and claimed that not all people named Karen are the same. Someone answered that, to be fair, never used the name Karen, unable to resist the opportunity to call this individual out. Nonetheless, this guy clearly missed the joke and continued to berate them.

While this was broadcast on social media, the takedown took place in person. It’s also a clear indication that the employees at this store had dealt with a lot of Karens in the past. They had so many that they believed it was worthwhile to invest on a sign directly in front of the main display. We have to believe that their threat would be reasonable and potentially effective. After all, they may entice some of those Karens with a discount on their order.
