Birds Eye Design Views
When planning the design of the bus, Talley explored various floor plan options. He drew inspiration from one of his favorite movies, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, but that particular design did not meet his expectations. Talley prioritized functionality to ensure that he could move around the bus with ease. He strategically positioned the toilet and kitchen near the entryway since these are the most frequently used amenities by guests. Talley enjoys entertaining, so he wanted to create a designated space where guests could gather.
Making Every Inch Count
As a designer, Talley aimed to maximize every square inch of space in the bus. Precision was crucial since one incorrect measurement could compromise the entire design. Initially, Talley drew inspiration from the adventure vehicle in Jurassic Park: The Lost World, but ultimately, he decided to pursue a different approach. Since he enjoyed entertaining, he placed the public areas at the front of the bus while reserving the back for his bed and office. The new kitchen he planned for the bus would be larger than the one in his previous studio apartment.
