Doing His Job
Benny made an effort to convince everyone that the elderly man was harmless. Yet, the boss stuck by his choice. If the elderly man does not have specific plans to purchase a car soon, he should leave the building. Benny groaned in defeat, realizing there was no use in disputing with his boss and that if he doesn’t, the elderly man has no reason to remain here. He needed this work, after all. Sadly, Benny had to speak with the elderly guy; he had hoped that his supervisor would. His employer advised that he had more crucial tasks to complete.
He Didn’t Want To Do It
Benny moved near the elderly guy to deliver the awful news as he did so with a heavy heart. He had developed a fondness for the elderly gentleman during the last few days. They had not spoken much, but Benny thought it was beautiful how the old man was always grinning. Benny admired the old man’s sincere admiration for the autos parked there. It was a totally different perspective from their typical customers, who would view cars as status symbols or toys. Some of them have no knowledge whatsoever of automobiles.
