An Exception
Several clients were expressing their displeasure with the old man’s presence. In addition to not minding that the elderly man hangs around the business as long as he is not harming anyone or the automobiles, Benny was beginning to feel sad for the man who has become a familiar face on the job. Given the nature of their work, Benny is accustomed to dealing with arrogant and snooty people on a daily basis. In order to keep his work, he did not particularly love the part when he had to appease these folks, but this time he found himself deviating from the norm.
The Boss didn’t like it
The proprietor of the luxury vehicle business came in once every two weeks. Sadly, the boss accidentally caught the elderly man wandering the grounds while he was there. The boss instantly observed the elderly man returning to the autos in the showroom’s back section. The boss contacted Benny since he was the best worker in the office. The boss said the elderly man should not have been in the store because he appeared to be unable to purchase any of the cars. Benny was given the task of handling it because the supervisor did not like his presence.
