“I was a security coordinator for a large electric company, and one time, I was doing a maintenance check on some random train station at like 3 a.m.” says the author. “When I moved a camera as far to the right as it would go to make sure it was working properly, this person was on all fours eating a deer in the midst of the railroad tracks, and I was shocked. I stood there for approximately 10 minutes before going to collect the other guy on shift, but when I returned, the dude had vanished without a trace. When I rewinded the tape, the person stopped chomping on the body, wiped the gore from his face, and went into the woods as if he didn’t have a care in the world. I thought it was hilarious.”

Despite the fact that I do not work in security, I am employed by a bank, and part of my job responsibilities include monitoring security cameras in the morning. “My back entry camera went off last week, and when I went to examine the video, it showed a man who didn’t look like anyone else in the neighborhood. In the early hours of the morning, he was pacing back and forth in front of the front door for a good 20 minutes. Every couple of minutes, he’d come to a complete stop, go up to the door, look into the camera, and then return to his pacing. Eventually a car passed by, and something in him must have gotten the better of him, for he took off running and didn’t return.”
