Logging Off
Brianna thought it was time to cleanse again. She needed to get away from the continual barrage of communications and spend time with her beautiful children. Richard vowed to help her, and she deleted all of her social media accounts. A weight was lifted from her shoulders. Little did the relieved mother realize that her actions had enraged one of her new internet friends. Furthermore, it wouldn’t be long before that “friend” expressed her displeasure to Brianna.

Feeling Conflicted
Brianna felt great for the most part. She didn’t have to check her phone all the time, and she felt much more present when she was with her family. Staying off social media was undeniably beneficial for everyone. Still, a small part of her wondered what people were saying behind her back about her. She knew there were many people who backed her up, but there were also those who enjoyed tearing her down, and she dreaded thinking about what they were saying when she wasn’t there to reply. The thought gnawed at her until she couldn’t take it any longer.
