Donating to charity
The majority of what they discovered could be thrown out or donated to charity or second-hand shops: clothes, shoes, toys, games, dishes, culinary utensils, and so on. However, while assisting his grandmother, Tommy noticed a few of really interesting artifacts that he wanted to keep for himself.

Grandma Alice had given him a box in which he could keep the items he chose to keep. She didn’t mind at all; she just wanted to spend time with her grandson, and she was pleased that he was interested in the old and dusty items she and Grandpa Glenn had accumulated in their attic over the years.
