Cleaning Grandma’s attic
Tommy sat in the lawn, soaking in the rays while eating ice cream with his grandmother. It was the middle of the summer vacation, and he had been assisting his grandmother in cleaning out the attic in her home. They discovered numerous interesting things while cleaning it.
Moving away
Grandma Alice had not entered the attic since Grandma’s husband, Tommy’s grandfather Glenn, died. She couldn’t easily walk up the stairs, and she hadn’t needed anything from the attic in the first place. She’d decided to move into a retirement home after the summer, and she’d asked Tommy to assist her in cleaning up a little.
