In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Freddie Prinze Jr. was one of Hollywood’s most popular adolescent idols, and his stardom skyrocketed after he starred in the very successful live-action Scooby-Doo films in the 1990s and early 2000s. However, for reasons that no one can fully explain, Prinze’s starring parts have all but disappeared in the intervening years. He has, on the other hand, remained focused on voiceover work, writing, and, of course, being married to Sarah Michelle Gellar.

Taylor Lautner appeared to be on the verge of becoming Hollywood’s next big star after his part as Jacob Black in the Twilight series, which he had completed in the early 2010s.
