Sean’s Daughter Could Be Seen In Return Of The King
Sean Astin began acting at an early age, and it appears that he wants to continue the tradition with his own child. Astin portrays Sam, one of the key characters of the ensemble cast, in the epic trilogy Lord of the Rings. Elanor Gardner, the cute little girl who runs into Sam’s arms when he returns home after dropping Frodo off at the ship at the end of Return of the King, is actually not a stranger to Astin. Alexandra, his real-life daughter, is that tiny kid!
Sean’s First Acting Work
Sean Astin grew up in the spotlight, beginning his acting career when he was nine years old. His first job also put him in front of his renowned mother, Patty Duke. Don’t Hit Me, Mom was a 1981 television movie about a babysitter who discovers that the young kid she is watching is being physically mistreated. Ironically, the mother and son in question are Astin and Duke, who have a close and loving connection. It’s hardly Astin’s best effort, but the future promises that his acting will improve dramatically!
