A Typical Day
Pat had heard on a routine day that a restaurant had recently opened in New York. He decided to pay a visit to see how the meal was. His stomach growled loudly as he looked at the menu in the window. He entered and sat in one of the booths. The food reminded him of his wife’s exquisite meals, but someone was about to ruin his day.

Being Served
Pat’s attention was drawn away from the menu by the sound of a female voice. “Hello. “Could I get you something to drink?” She sounded cruel and harsh. Pat, on the other hand, lowered the menu so she could see his face. Her smile vanished instantly. Something was wrong, but what had he done to insult her? She was about to tell him something.
