“After everything I’ve done for you, you have to rub this in my face?” It said. Joe was completely perplexed. As her biggest nightmare came true, Alina’s cheeks burned. “What are you talking about?” He inquired of his mother, but she did not react. He paused for a moment before texting her again, “Mom, is everything okay?” He didn’t realize it yet, but something about his photo bothered her.
