There are difficult decisions to be made in life. This woman, who made such a decision, felt it was the right one and prepared a placard to brag about it. She and her four-year boyfriend were discussing marriage before the 2011 World Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Texas Rangers. She really wanted a ring, but her boyfriend offered her World Series tickets instead, and she accepted, swearing never to bring up marriage again. And she certainly gained a lot from this move. She witnessed the thrilling Game 6 of the 2011 World Series, and a photo of her sign went viral.

This Gonzaga student may have gone overboard with his sign. While we give him points for his dedication to his alma mater’s team (San Diego State University), those points do not count towards his grade point average, something we’re sure his parents will be upset about if the sign is correct. Maybe his GPA is dropping because he’s too busy watching basketball games to study, which we entirely understand, but we don’t condone failing classes because of sports.
