Finnish Lapphund
Although they are a breed of dog that enjoys being around people, they are not the most active of canines. Despite the fact that they don’t require frequent walks, they can become lonely if left alone at home for an extended amount of time. It shouldn’t come as a surprise that they like chilly temperatures given their origins in the Arctic region. Their compassionate and sensitive nature makes them an excellent companion for senior citizens.

The Pyrenees is also a somewhat larger dog, which isn’t always a negative thing in this case! It is a terrific alternative to the Golden retriever in situations where a Golden retriever may be too lively for a senior to handle properly. They are unquestionably one of the kindest and friendliest breeds of all time, and they like a good brushing once a week.
