Caterpillar?
When you first look at this image, you might believe you’re gazing at a colorful, even scary, caterpillar. But don’t worry, the honest answer is far from this. Instead, you’re looking at a row of birds sitting side by side on a branch. Their beaks appear to be spines, and their multicolored feathers appear to be fur. Still, these are merely a group of songbirds having an early morning meeting. Their near proximity to one another creates the illusion.

At first glance, this photograph appears to be relatively straightforward. It’s a nice bag with an even prettier and more artistically finished cross-stitch of two cats cuddling on it. However, it is not a cross-stitch! What you’re seeing is a group of cats cuddling in a carrier. The two kittens appear to be stitched into place due to the mesh screen in the aperture. It’s a fantastic example of an image snapped at precisely the right moment.
