These Awful Characters Ended Up Ruining Otherwise Great TV Shows

Published on 07/01/2020

If anything will never fail to start a debate, it has to be the worst characters to appear on our TV screens. Many casting directors have enhanced a series with the introduction of new characters. However, there were times when they failed to get it right. These are some of the characters who people agree ruined otherwise good TV shows! We sure hope that you are not going to find your favorite on this list.

These Awful Characters Ended Up Ruining Otherwise Great TV Shows

Cindy – Three’s Company

We got to know Cindy Snow in the middle of a dramatic plotline in the fifth season of Three’s Company. Suzanne Somers had just left the show, so the producers tried to make up for it by casting Jenilee Harrison to play Cindy. She was portrayed as an annoying and ditzy blonde, which annoyed fans more than anything else. The actress later landed a better role in Dallas.

Randy Pearson – That ’70s Show

When it comes to the eighth season of That ‘70s Show, many people hated the addition of this character. Brought to life by Josh Meyers, Randy Pearson was supposed to replace the main cast staple Eric when Topher Grace left the show. The character worked dated Donna and worked at the record store with Hyde throughout the season. He was considered a combination of Kelso and Eric, who both left the show. The fact that he had big shoes to fill definitely did not make the character more likable.

Seven – Married… With Children

Seven proved to be such an unpopular character that they later turned him into a missing person whose face was added to a milk carton. He was the seventh kid of Zemus Wanker and Ida Mae. How fitting is it that he appeared in the seventh season of Married… with Children? Viewers thought he was even more annoying than an average little boy. Fans despised the character so much that the producers decided to get rid of him in the middle of the season. The cover story was that he did not want to leave after going to the neighbor.

Nellie Bertram – The Office

Catherine Tate first appeared in The Office during a seventh-season guest appearance, but we only knew more about her in the following season. Her character was pretty much the reason Andy was fired! Not only that, but she was an outsider and made for a terrible boss. We have to admit that the actress did a great job of playing the character. When she and Andy made peace in the ninth season, fans started to warm up to her. However, it was too little, too late by then.

Ted Mosby – How I Met Your Mother

Yes, Ted Mosby is the main character of How I Met Your Mother. Josh Radnor brought him to life, but a lot of people hated the character! Not only did it take him nine years to share a single story, but he also got away with way too much on the series. Viewers also found his character too cheesy and sensitive. Aiden Mason of TV Over Mind said, “type of guy that guys can’t stand—and women can’t either.” There is even a website made by his haters called Tedmosbysucks.com. Ouch.

Wesley Crusher – Star Trek: The Next Generation

Wesley Crusher was one of the regular characters on Star Trek: The Next Generation for the first four seasons. However, he only made sporadic appearances in the next three thanks to the fans’ negative reception. Viewers just did not buy into the “genius kid” trope in a show like this one. To be fair, it looked like the writers were unable to write to young people properly. It did not help people find him smug and dismissive, thanks to the mediocre writing and his California diction.

Nikki And Paolo – Lost

According to E! Online, Nikki and Paolo make up one of the “Worst TV Couples Ever.” Fans hated these Lost characters since the storyline did not really match with the rest of the crew. The show is confusing enough on its own, so this only made things worse. The con artist and actress only had a brief stint on the show because they were eventually paralyzed and buried alive. Oh, did we mention that they murdered someone before they got o the island? The writers held hope that they could be redeemed, but this did not come to fruition. Showrunner Damon Lindelof even acknowledged how unlikable the pair is.

Priya Koothrappali – The Big Bang Theory

Aarti Mann showed up in The Big Bang Theory to play Raj’s younger sister. Many fans think of her as the main antagonist of season four. She was a corporate lawyer, and the fans have not liked her ever since she first appeared on the show. Part of this has to do with how she cheated on Leonard. The breakup happened in the seventh episode of season five. Of course, she and Penny did not get along!

Cousin Oliver – The Brady Bunch

Robbie Rist played Cousin Oliver on The Brady Bunch. However, people disliked the character so much that it developed into a trope called” Cousin Oliver Syndrome.” This is used to describe a young character introduced to an old show that needs to mix things up. Sadly, many people think that this typecast only ruins shows. Oliver was kind of like a human magnet for disaster. He caused a lot of problems and made the series feel unbalanced. Today agrees that Cousin Oliver “killed” the series. Oof.

Stephanie Mills – All In The Family

Up next, we have another child character that was despised by the fans. Stephanie Mills was introduced as the niece of Archie Bunker in All in the Family. She was abandoned by her alcoholic dad and left on their front step. Sadly, this tragic backstory did not make fans warm to her. People thought that she ruined the family dynamic. On the other hand, some viewers thought she was a good way to counter Archie’s liberal views. She was also Jewish, which he was initially critical of.

Emily – Friends

To be fair, Emily started as a well-liked character in Friends. However, this did not last long because fans thought that she was stealing Ross from Rachel. The couple was about to get married until he referred to her as “Rachel” during the vows! Fans felt glad when the relationship was over since she was unreasonable and jealous. Not only did she want him to move to London with her, but she also wanted him to cut ties with the entire gang. We can see why fans thought that he dodged a bullet!

Nathan Riggs – Grey’s Anatomy

Ellen Pompeo has said that many fans hate this character simply because it was a poorly conceived one. For the longest time, her love interest was Patrick Dempsey’s character. When he left the show, fans thought that Nathan Riggs showed up way too soon. The character was played by Martin Henderson, although the timing could definitely have been better. The actress later explained that ABC was wrong to do this. In 2017, they wrote him out to be with his fiancée and begin a new life with her.

Billie – Charmed

TV viewers simply adored Kaley Cuoco in The Big Bang Theory. In fact, she became one of the most famous stars in the TV industry for that role! Sadly, let us just say that Penny did not have the same appeal as Billie in Charmed. The actress first appeared in the first episode of the eighth season. On top of basic witch abilities, she also had telekinesis and projection. Fans did not like her from the start, but things took a turn for the worse after reuniting with her sister and joining the dark side.

Reagan Lucas – New Girl

Megan Fox brought Reagan Lucas to life on New Girl. Fans openly hated the character and blamed her for the “gross behavior” displayed by Nick. The truth was that this is not accurate. At any rate, Reagan disappeared from the show after her breakup with Nick. The split had something to do with their inability to show emotions. She was written as a cool and confident woman with a no-nonsense attitude. The actress appeared on the show while Zooey Deschanel was on maternity leave.

Dawn Summers – Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Dawn Summers was the sister of Buffy on Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Played by Michelle Trachtenberg, she was a potential slayer herself. However, fans did not take them to her. They thought that the introduction upset the status quo because she appeared in the fifth season suddenly and played a big part in the storyline. On top of that, they just found her plain annoying because she was always complaining. In hindsight, however, she was clearly trying to step out of the shadow of her sister!

Castiel – Supernatural

We are sure that a lot of people will disagree with his inclusion in the list. Castiel became a regular on the show during the fifth season. There were certain things that the character did that fans did not like. For one thing, let us remind you that he absorbed the Leviathans’ souls and declared himself God. There was also “Cassifer,” the version of Castiel that let Lucifer take over this body. Fans did not approve of how he agreed to such a destructive thing. Even though he was sometimes funny, he was hit or miss.

Ramsay Bolton – Game Of Thrones

According to The Atlantic, this guy was “the worst character on television.” A quick poll also confirmed this. People found his crimes outrageous not only in the fantasy series but also in real life. Let us not forget that he tortured Theon Greyjoy so much that the poor guy lost half of his weight and turned his hair white, making him look like an older man. Unfortunately, the hate for the character seemed to have translated into hatred for the actor. Iwan Rheon said that this was the case!

Criss Chros – 30 Rock

Chris Chros made his first appearance on the show in an episode called “Idiots are People Two!” Played by James Marden, people thought that Liz Lemon could do better. Well, they were not wrong about that. The character was a hot dog vendor who took up ethnomusicology in school. When he joined the cast, there was a lot of backlash on Twitter. On the other hand, however, fans thought it was a good idea to pair her with someone who was not all that overachieving.

Marc Brendanawicz – Parks And Recreation

It is not a secret that many fans are devoted to Leslie Knope of Parks and Recreation. This is probably why they disliked Mark Brendanawicz, who was a regular during the first two seasons. Paul Schneider brought the city planner to life. Even though Leslie had a big crush on him, he simply brushed her off and then dated her best friend! A lot of people were relieved that the character left the show after the second season. According to the actor, he left due to “creative differences” about how his character should be written. It was probably for the best because Leslie and Ben are great together.

Scrappy Doo – Scooby-Doo

When Scooby-Doo experienced declining ratings in the ‘70s and ‘80s, Hanna-Barbera added Scrappy Doo to the cast. He was the nephew of our favorite great Dane and actually helped boost the ratings in the beginning. However, fans eventually soured on this animated puppy. Viewers found him unlikable, frustrating, and rude. In the live-action adaptation of Scooby-Doo, they turned him into the main villain. Apparently, this was at the behest of James Gunn, the director!

Cole Aaronson – Scrubs

It felt like Cole Aaronson of Scrubs was tailor-made to be hated by fans. Dave Franco portrayed him as a snobby and disrespectful intern that only landed the job because of his parents. After all, they did build the hospital! On top of that, he always hit on Denise and said that he could get away with this, thanks to his parents’ influence. Even though he had his funny lines, he served as a comedic foil for the rest of the crew. Fans despised him, but he did make for a lot of laughs!

Madison ‘Badison’ Murphy – Orange Is The New Black

The Orange Is the New Black fandom united thanks to its hatred of Madison. According to The Guardian, she is “the most annoying character on television.” Meanwhile, Screen Rant said that it had been a “casting decision that hurt the show.” Also known as “Badison,” the character was introduced as a villain during the sixth season. She was disliked for her snobbishness and selfish attitude. There were villains that people seemed to hate on the show, but she topped all of them!

Screech – Saved By The Bell: The College Years

Dustin Diamond brought Screech to life during season one of Saved by the Bell: The College Years. Sadly, it turned out to be the only season of the show. Originally a beloved character in the original series, his college iteration sparked hatred among fans. It turned out that the actor was aware that this was the case. In 2000, he explained in an interview that the writers intentionally tried to “destroy” the character. Oh well, perhaps it was nothing more than him popping up very inconveniently.

Declan Porter – Revenge

Declan Porter was introduced as the younger brother of Jack on Revenge. On top of that, he was Charlotte Clarke’s boyfriend and declined Amanda’s romantic advances. He always encouraged his older brother to date, Emily. In the end, he died in a bombing attack as soon as he found out that he and Charlotte had a child on the way. Even though he had a tragic story, fans did not feel anything about his death since he was already disliked by then. Fans thought that he was whiny and had weird hair!

Hades – Once Upon A Time

Greg Germann brought Hades to life in Once Upon a Time. People disliked the relationship between him and Zelena, which did not make a lot of sense. After all, he caused a lot of destruction on the show as he tried to retake King of the Underworld’s title. He made his debut in the twelfth episode of the fifth season. He pretends that he loves her since he thinks that he can make his plan work. It is a good thing that she realized that this was the case before it was too late. In the end, she killed him by plunging a crystal into him!

Lila West – Dexter

We doubt that anyone liked Lila West with the protagonist since she was evil and crazy. Fans rejoiced when she died, but they did not enjoy the second season, thanks to her. A fan said that it was “cringe” worthy! At any rate, Dexter disposed of her by killing her somewhere remote. Portrayed by Jamie Murray, Digital Spy called the character an “unhinged mistress.” While fans went to defend her as an antagonist, some people did not approve that she was the main character’s love interest.

Maya Herrera – Heroes

Fine, Maya Herrera did not exactly ruin the show, but she had such a weird superpower! Her ability was to make a fast-acting lethal poison in any nearby human. Whenever she did this, her eyes would turn black and produce a stream of black tears. The people near her then get the same symptom and die. She needed her twin brother’s help to deactivate her superpower, which got out of hand whenever she was feeling stressed. It felt more like a liability than a useful power! When her power was removed, she became nothing more than a plot device.

April Nardini – Gilmore Girls

According to the AV Club, this storyline was “the worst thing” to ever happen on Gilmore Girls. Luke and Lorelai broke up over her, but she was actually his daughter! Vanessa Marano, the actress who played her, said that she did not like the character since it broke the couple up. Even though she was upset, she kept playing the role since she knew it could help her career. According to her, it was important for her not to “care” that the show’s fans hated her.

Andy Bernard – The Office

Who would have thought that we would get another entry from The Office? Andy Bernard was portrayed by Ed Helms and was a great character until the ninth season. You might say that the fault is with Nellie Bertram since she ruined his life, but he was undeniably unlikable in the ninth season. He left Erin after chasing her in Florida and getting fired for it. He then went on a boat trip and abandoned the whole team to be an actor-singer even though he was horrible at it…

April Rhodes – Glee

Gleeks are actually divided when it comes to April Rhodes. She was a former star who entered the club to help it out. She appeared in the first seasons of the show. Fans found her annoying and horrible. In fact, Buzzfeed said she was “dumb, so annoying, [and] selfish.” The NY Times agreed and said that she was an “inconsistent” character. They found it weird that the excuse for her inclusion in the Glee Club was that she did not graduate high school.

Anna – One Tree Hill

Fans generally adored the entire cast of One Tree Hill, save for Anna Taggaro. Sadly, the writers made her a flat character that brought neither “heart nor humor,” according to Screen Rant. She failed to impact viewers, which was a shame since she was one of the few LGBTQ+ characters. Not only did she and Lucas have no chemistry together, but she was not a good friend to Peyton either. She was not relatable, which was why fans were glad she vanished mid-series.

Anna – One Tree Hill

Joffrey – Game Of Thrones

Do we really need to expound on the fact that there are many unpleasant characters on Game of Thrones? However, Joffrey has to be one of the most hated ones. He is a selfish, spoiled brat who went on to become a king. Imagine your regular child bully but instated as the king of the country. At first, he was just an annoying character but turned into a murderer. Together with Sansa Stark, many people breathed sighs of relief when Olenna Tyrell finally poisoned him at his very own wedding.

Joffrey – Game Of Thrones

Jenny Humphries – Gossip Girl

Jenny Humphries of Gossip Girl was no fan favorite. The characters all behaved badly, but there was no one more annoying than this character. This is the reason few people could tolerate her bad behavior. On top of that, she continued to follow the same pattern. First, she would do something that alienated her family. When she realized that she was wrong, she came to her senses and made reparations. However, she never learned and kept doing the same thing over and over!

3J – Family Matters

Orlando Brown played Jerry Jamal Jameson, also known as 3J, on Family Matters. He later turned into a meth addict. Many fans found him disrespectful and rude since he showed the family no appreciation even though they took him in. What Culture said he was an “annoying character” that was there to “boost ratings.” Introduced in season eight, his introduction jarred viewers. By season nine, it was pretty much “The Steve Urkel Show” and got canceled before 3J got a conclusion.

Nicky And Alex – Full House

We agree that Alex and Nicky Katsopolis were both cute, but they were not the best characters on Full House. You couldn’t understand them without the subtitles! On top of this, they did not have a lot to do with the real plot. They were the children of Uncle Jesse, but they weren’t as bad as Michelle Tanner. Michelle behaved badly and messed with his musical instruments. While she was adorable, many people thought that she behaved worse than their own parents would have let them.

Nicky And Alex – Full House

Gertrude – Frasier

Indeed, they did not make Gertrude Moon a likable person on purpose. She was an overbearing guest who overstayed her welcome while staying with Daphne and Niles. She was able to land a job at a café, but everyone disliked her. British actress Millicent Martin played her to perfection, but the character was written as whiny and domineering. Fans thought that she was much too one-dimensional.

Dana Brody – Homeland

Netizens were not very kind to Dana Brody of Homeland either. The Daily Beast said that she was “TV’s most annoying character.” She was a whiny teen played by Morgan Saylor, who said she wanted to “provoke fans.” People thought she was annoying since she always had the same expression. Buzzfeed even listed down her expressions, which all looked the same!

Janine – Friends

Janine was introduced as the roommate of Joey. Fans did not like her even though she only appeared in five episodes in the fifth season. To be fair, she did try to break up the group by saying that she did not want him around Chandler and Monica once they started dating. According to her, he was too “blah,” and she was too loud. Luckily, Joey disagreed with her request! What a relief that was, huh?

Marina Nunier – Elite

Elite is a fairly new Spanish high school drama. Marina Nunier Osuna is not one of the most popular characters on the show. She gets together with Samuel, which ends when he realizes that the child’s father is actually his brother. As you can imagine, fans thought that she was too sneaky. Sadly, it did not matter since she ended up dying in the end. However, we won’t tell you who killed her!

Marina Nunier – Elite

Paige Jennings – The Americans

NJ.com said Paige Jennings was “the most hated character” on The Americans. In a show revolving around spies, the least liked character happens to be the main characters’ teen daughter. Maybe fans don’t like her sweaters and ugly jeans. If not that, maybe it’s how she lists her accomplishments without anyone asking her about it. This show is a critical darling, but it did not fare very well when it came to the ratings.

Dr. Jo Wilson – Grey’s Anatomy

We can’t deny that Jo Wilson was cool and calm in several scenes. However, there were far too many moments in which she was just not. She found it hard to express her emotions and bottled up her feelings. It made her annoying in the eyes of many fans. Did you know that Camilla Luddington, the actress who played her, also portrayed Lara Croft in the Tomb Raider games? Cool!

Hazel Wassername – 30 Rock

When Kristen Schaal played Hazel Wassername in 30 Rock, Liz Lemon said that character was “just another weird page,” and she already had one. The side character was brought in to spice it up, but fans were not yet over Kenneth. It did not help that Hazel wanted Liz to herself. EW launched a campaign to write her out and bring Kenneth back in! She was on the show for two seasons.

Hazel Wassername – 30 Rock

Marie – Breaking Bad

Marie Schrader has to be one of the most annoying characters on Breaking Bad. People found her pretentious, neurotic, and worrying. On top of that, she also considered herself better than others even though she was a kleptomaniac. It would seem that some people found this more annoying than dealing meth, but oh well! Many also thought it was messed up that she told Walt to end his life.

Marie – Breaking Bad

Marie – Breaking Bad

Tori – Saved By The Bell

Tori appeared in the fifth season of Saved by the Bell. How annoying was she? Well, Funny or Die created a skit about the character asking why she did not get an invite to the reunion special. The only reason for this was that fans did not like her. Leanna Creel was meant to replace Tiffani Thiesen and Elizabeth Berkley but let us say that this was not a popular decision.

Tori – Saved By The Bell

Tori – Saved By The Bell

Andrea – The Walking Dead

There was a high turnover in The Walking Dead, which explains why fans did not like many characters. Fans typically did not see a lot of backstories. Andrea, played by Laurie Holden, is one such example. She shared many scenes with overs, and fans thought she was annoying and did not add much. Producers took her out after the third season. The actress said she felt “like [she] got shot.”

CJ – 8 Simple Rules

In 2004, David Spade joined the cast of 8 Simple Rules. He portrayed C.J., who is Cate Hennessy’s nephew. He always got into trouble and gave his cousins bad advice. The character got up to a lot of trouble on the show. It is difficult to tell if fans did not like the actor or the character. Even though he deviated from the typical sitcom format, the novelty did not last a long time.

Sherloque Wells – The Flash

Sherloque Wells proved to be such a polarizing character that fans began a “Sherloque hate post.” He was the doppelganger of Harrison on the show. Many fans found him to be far too one-dimensional, especially for the main villain. Did this character even have a redeeming quality? Let us not forget that he also told the entire crew about Nora’s secret. Digital Spy reported that even Cavanagh, the actor, said that he held “doubts” about the character’s longevity.

Kennedy – Buffy The Vampire Slayer

It was great to watch Willow fall in love once more after losing Tara, but it sucks that it had to be with Kennedy. This potential slayer was rude and arrogant, but the writers probably just failed to flesh her out. He was the one to make the first move with Willow, but fans were surprised to see her return his feelings. After all, he and Tara had nothing in common. Fans said that her arrogance was unwarranted.

Kennedy – Buffy The Vampire Slayer

Cousin Rose – Downton Abbey

Rose kept the adultery of Lord Sinderby a secret because, as Gretchen Wieners of Mean Girls said, it was “totally against the rules of feminism.” Cousin Rose did not appear in the movie since she relocated to New York. Lily James, who portrayed the character, said that she was not in the film since there was “no space.” However, we do know that she married Atticus and had a honeymoon to Venice. Even on the show, the character was not a favorite. Mrs. Hughes even said she was not a true “lady.”

Cousin Rose – Downton Abbey

Victor Clemente – ER

Without a doubt, Victor Clemente was among the most hated characters on the show. An emergency medicine specialist, he was not a very good doctor. He often clashed with the more popular Luka Kovac, which led the fan-favorite to seek the Chief ER Doctor position. Clemente was strong and independent but kept going with diagnosis, which was not always correct. He was eventually framed for a crime and injured, although most ER fans did not feel too bad for him.

Victor Clemente – ER

Jody Kimball-Kinney – The Mindy Project

AV Club was clearly not a big fan of Jody from The Mindy Project. The website said that her storyline was “unromantic” and “unfunny.” She worked in Africa in the past and joked a lot about the war-torn country. This tired Western joke left a bad taste in our mouths. Even though the show tried its hand at dark humor, it only sounded racist and unfunny to the viewers’ ears.

Jody Kimball Kinney – The Mindy Project

Oliver Trask – The O.C.

InStyle and ScreenRant agreed that this guy was one of the worst supporting characters in The O.C. Fans hated the show’s first antagonist after attempting to break up Ryan and Marissa. He first seemed like an innocent friend, but he was the sort of guy who complained too much about the friendzone. It felt like a switch was flipped when he began to stalk Marissa! The final straw would be how he threatened to end his life if she refused to date him. Lame.

Oliver Trask – The O.C.

Mandy Hampton — The West Wing

Mandy Hampton proved to be such a horrible character that she was written out of The West Wing after one season. During the pilot, she got pulled over but refused to stop talking on the phone. This was not the end of her snobby attitude either! Do not forget the time the anti-Bartlet memo got out. On top of that, a negotiator died in a stand-off thanks to her. She was not even important enough to be killed off in the shooting at the end of the season.

Paige McCullers – Pretty Little Liars

Was there a shadier character than Paige in Pretty Little Liars? All right, there were a couple. She was an insecure teen who got more assertive and mature over the course of several seasons. We love that for her, but she should not have come home from college. This was how she ended up on our list. Once likable, she turned creepy and possessive, effectively undoing all the progress she made in the first seasons. A fan explained that Paige took “ten steps forward and fifty steps back.”

Paige McCullers – Pretty Little Liars

Paige McCullers – Pretty Little Liars

Sheriff Don Lamb – Veronica Mars

Sherriff Don Lamb was a terrible character, so we were happy that he got killed off. Steve Bitondo, his fellow dirtbag, got a redeeming moment after clotheslining his head using a bat! This character is the reason so many sexual assault victims do not report. He did not take Veronica seriously when she told him about her assault. Instead, he told her to look for the “Wizard” and “ask for a backbone.” Not only was this a bad joke, but it was also super insensitive! It did not help that he only served the rich.

Sheriff Don Lamb – Veronica Mars

Mary Watson – Sherlock

A good way to figure out if a character is not likable would be how quickly they are killed. Mary Watson was the wife of John Watson on Sherlock. She was once a CIA assassin before working for a private team called AGRA but left the team after a certain mission. This was how she picked up her new name and started working as a nurse. Many fan pages said that most fans of the show did not like the character since she was effectively blocking the “romance” between the leads.

Felicity Smoak – Arrow

You only need to go to YouTube and Reddit to figure out Felicity Smoak is not all that adored. While some fans like her, many do not. A Reddit user once asked, “Is Felicity Smoak the worst main supporting character of all time?” They found her annoying and thought that she was a bad partner to Barry. The third season was a pivotal turn for her likability as she could have been more supportive of him.

Felicity Smoak – Arrow

Erin – The Office

We love Ellie Kemper, but we can’t say the same thing for Erin, her character on The Office. She became the secretary when Pam left to join Michael Scott Paper Company with Ryan and Michael. When they returned after being bought out, Pam was transferred to sales instead of getting her old job back. This change did not get a good reception among the fans. It did not help that the ditzy and naïve personality of Erin did not appeal to most viewers.

Erin – The Office

Tara – Blue Bloods

Ariane Rinehart appeared in Blue Bloods but not for a long time. The Guardian has described the police procedural as “so bad, it’s good.” Tara was a guest character in a seventh-season episode. Ray and Estes rescued this young woman from a shelter. Estes allowed her to stay at his apartment, which only made Ray jealous. Honestly, all of this drama was unnecessary!

Tara – Blue Bloods

Tara – Blue Bloods

Minnick – Grey’s Anatomy

When asked which character was “the worst” on the show, most Grey’s Anatomy fans answered Minnick. She deserved this because of the way she talked to her coworkers. On top of that, a bad call of hers caused the death of a kid. This is probably the worst nightmare of every doctor out there. More than anything, she was a pot-stirrer who contributed more stress than anything else!

Minnick – Grey’s Anatomy

Minnick – Grey’s Anatomy

Neelix – Voyager

Fans had missed feelings when it comes to Neelix of Voyager. A fan said that he was a bad combination of “Wesley Crusher” and “Scrappy-Doo.” Dan Holliday said that he was a “contrived character” created by the Voyager committee. He also said that the only reason he was there was to voice questions that viewers would have had. It would have been better if they took out the character and made the plot a little more explanatory! His snark and joke also failed to land most of the time.

Neelix – Voyager

Neelix – Voyager

Daniel Shaw – Chuck

At first, Daniel Shaw seemed like a good character. We met him in Chuck’s third season as a government agent trying to hunt down a terrorist organization. However, he wound up turning into a villain. As the host for the Intersect software, he became the second Human Intersect in the show’s history. Fans were not satisfied by his descent into evilness. They simply were not convinced that someone obsessed with bringing down a terrorist group would go on to be its member.

River – Doctor Who

We can’t deny that River Song was a great character when David Tennant was Dr. Who. It all went downhill from then on, however. The writers came up with a romance between them but failed to show us any scenes where they got to know each other. According to Hidden Remote, she was “an awful representation” of the show’s characters. A different fan said that seeing this play out was like seeing a movie with a person who had already seen it before.

Debbie – Shameless

If you had a dysfunctional childhood, you might be comforted when you watch Shameless. In the beginning, Debbie was among the most innocent Gallagher family members. However, she was nearly as bad as her dad by the ninth season. Her love life is problematic, and she got the manipulative nature of her dad. Sadly, they don’t work as well for her as they did for him! For one thing, she once kidnapped a baby. On top of that, she basically made Frank lose his sobriety after kicking him out.

Monica Reyes – The X-Files

According to Den of Geek, Monica was the most “controversial” X-Files character. They hated the fact that she was nothing more than a “replacement character.” On top of littering cigarette butts, she could also not catch a serial killer in the past. Scully even said that she was a “coward” because of this! The character has broken down by the tenth season. She avoided the FBI to be an “elite” alien DNA survivor with CSM. They killed her off during the season eleven finale. If you watched it, you would know why Cinema Blend referred to it as a “WTF Finale.”

Beans – Even Stevens

Back in the early 2000s, Even Stevens was one of the biggest Disney shows. Fans are divided when it comes to Beans. Some think that he was great, but others thought that he was a bad character. The latter found him annoying, weird, and unnecessary. Played by Steven Anthony Lawrence, it is amazing to see that he looks the same now that he is 29 years old. It’s neat but also a bit creepy.

Lucy – Scrubs

Fans of Scrubs disliked Lucy so much that they argued if she was a proper character. Others said that she was only a guest star since she was in only one season. Some people enjoyed seeing the med student, but others could not get over her problematic actions. In general, the ninth season did not get good reviews. However, her hypocritical nature made it worse. Even though she thought that Cole did not have empathy, they kept hooking up anyway. Make up your mind, girl!

Rusty – Major Crimes

Major Crimes fans have weighed in. The verdict is that Rusty is among the worst characters the show has ever seen! A fan said that he was a “self-absorbed whiner.” Often, he drew the plot to him thanks to his issues. This was a deviation from the typical cop show formula. Aside from this, Rusty had plenty of “PC” problems that took away from his character. Even though he had a troubled past, many fans were unable to connect to him and found him far too self-centered.

Diamondback – Luke Cage

Forbes has called the Marvel superhero TV show Luke Cage a “great show” with a “terrible third act.” It has to do with how Eric LaRay Harvey did not fit the main villain, Diamondback. Cottonmouth, his brother, was liked more by fans who were sad that he was replaced. According to Fansided, it was one of the “worst performances” in the Marvel cinematic universe. Fans found that the character could not live up to his predecessor and did not enjoy his pointless rants. Fansided also did not enjoy his cringe-worthy “Can you dig it?” line and found it “atrocious.”

Rowena – Supernatural

In the early seasons of Supernatural, fans hated Rowena. This was back when she was still a villain! However, some folks disliked her more when she switched sides and became a hero. She was Crowley’s mom and got campier as the show went on. A Gizmodo writer said that her lines were miswritten that she did not make a believable villain. Not only that, but she kept plotting to overthrow her son, although he did not throw her into the firepit. This grating character did not favor the credibility of Crowley and just made him look like a spineless coward.

Rory Gilmore, Gilmore Girls

There isn’t a perfect choice, but Rory Gilmore is a terrible event. She is egotistical, titled, and unbelievably boring. It was very tolerable in the first few years, but all went downhill after season four. Even if you really feel like she’s a good person, you have to reassess your life choices.

By writing it and releasing it as a book, Steve addresses his childhood trauma to his siblings’ regret. He is weighed down by remorse and sometimes turns out to be unthoughtful, but he is always concerned for his family and doesn’t want them to go the same way as his or Nell’s mother.

Kate And Kevin Pearson, This Is Us

Although Kevin Parson is, without a doubt, a beautiful demon, he doesn’t have a sufficient look and charm to justify his character for major faults, he frequently seems “self-centered” and accuses his parents of his difficulties while being too old to use his infancy as a pretext for his conduct. On the other hand, Kate always takes out her mother’s grievances as her mom simply exists in her skin, which is unacceptable and unjustified to many fans.

Grace Adler, Will & Grace

We hope Jack & Karen have been the name of the show! The supporting stars were much more fun than the two key tracks. Nevertheless, Grace was without question the most annoying member of this funny squad. She couldn’t operate a water bra, snacked on envelopes from time to time, had strange mummy problems, and constantly made up everything. Sure, she had beautiful hair, but was that really enough? No, not. It isn’t, no. No.

Brandon Foster, The Fosters

Brandon is one of those guys who can’t take it when they see someone else smiling. He still manages to wreak havoc on a potentially positive situation. His meddling in Callie’s adoption by the family that really loved her is a clear example of this. He did everything in his power to make it as bad as possible. While it was wonderful that the adoption was completed, it was not because of him.

Piper Chapman, Orange Is the New Black

The interaction between all characters and Piper’s general lack of knowledge creates emotional resonance and comic relief and serves as the show’s engine. Piper’s appearance as the girl who always lifts her hand after the teacher has finished taking questions is still a big part of the first season, even though the other characters’ backstories are more important.

Ani Anchola, 13 Reasons Why

Ani is a new student at Liberty High, and neither her peers nor the series’ viewers have accepted her. This season’s narrator is a new character, but her behavior and overall attitude in the series have struck the wrong chord with viewers, and for a good reason!

Trish Walker, Jessica Jones

Before the second season, Trish inspired Jessica to try harder and be the best she could be. Starting then, though, Trish got Jessica to aim lower, causing her to take less pride in her achievements. Trish had become overtly narcissistic by the second season when she shot Jessica’s mom in front of her on the Theme Park.

April Kepner, Grey’s Anatomy

April Kepner is at the end of the list because she was the most irritating character we’ve ever encountered when she first appeared on the show. She was tense and arrogant, preferring to blame others for her errors rather than accept responsibility for her decisions.

April Kepner, Grey's Anatomy

April Kepner, Grey’s Anatomy

Eugene Porter, The Walking Dead

On The Walking Dead, Eugene has the second-worst hair and the most obnoxious mannerisms. He’s had some positive moments, such as when he revealed that he could make bullets, which could play a key role later in the season, but he’s still mostly useless, and the way he says stuff sounds forced. As he admitted that he didn’t know of a cure and that his journey to Washington, D.C. was a farce, he became even more irritating.

Mon-El, Supergirl

Mon-El has been keeping a huge secret since his arrival on Earth. He claims to have been a palace guard for the royal family of Daxam and that he survived the destruction of his world because the noble prince he was attempting to save locked him in a one-person escape ship (a Kryptonian pod) and sent him away.
