Before John could explain further what he meant, Joan shushed him and ran to find her mobile so that she could call an ambulance. David sat uninterested. He truly believed his father was faking this whole ordeal in order to avoid the ongoing situation regarding the life insurance cash. It was unbelievable. Before he could answer, David was ushered away by a pair of incoming paramedics. The whole thing happened so quickly. John was lifted up onto a gurney and speedily wheeled out to the ambulance outside. “We have to go to the hospital Mom, Dad was acting really strange, saying strange things”. “I’m sure it’s just delusional talk from the faint, but let’s follow the ambulance to the hospital’. David agreed. He was still livid that his own mother had threatened to disown him, but right now there were bigger things going on. He needed to know what his Dad was going to tell him.
