Carla and Gladys had been in real estate for many years, so they were pretty sure that they had seen everything. They had been through all kinds of things, even situations that would make others give up. This helped them become capable of dealing with almost anything that they were confronted with. Prior to entering Joyce’s home, the pair were already imagining things they might find inside. They went through some crazy ideas, but none of them were even close to what they discovered in the home.

When they got the call, Carla was at the office. This wasn’t unusual considering the amount of success that they have attained throughout the years. The caller sounded quite hesitant and weary but she introduced herself and told them about her plan. Back then, Joyce was just another potential seller, so they reassured her that they would get her the best possible deal for her house. Normally, Carla does not expect to find a deluxe house or a mansion, and she actually prepared for the worst when she heard Joyce’s age.
