J. Crew
Former America’s first lady, Michelle Obama, is J.Crew’s huge fan, but her clothes source is shut down sadly. In the last few years, the profits of the stores have dropped, the main reason for their closure. In addition to his bridal shop and the coveted artistic director Jenna Lyons, J. Crew bid their farewell. Millard Drexler, a CEO, also left the company and said to have been grateful for the bad news in paradise, because of the price increases.

99 Cents Only
99 Cents Only sells products that compete with major names such as Dollar Tree, Walmart, and Dollar General at discounted prices. Other than a $42.4 million loss in the first and second quarters, the company reported net losses in December 2017 of $27.1 million. Eventually, it was sold to Ares Management, which subsequently became a Canada Pension Plan and then to a private family. The company was 35 years old. The new CEO, Jack Sinclair, announced good revenue from the same store, but sadly, 99 Cents Only declined immediately.
