Things Remembered found a buyer to help in the keeping of some of their shops across the country after it filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in February. In this store that specializes in carved items and customized goods, Enesco LLC has acquired 176 locations. However, the acquisition saved only a small part of the business. Originally there were 450 stores at the time of insolvency, and over 250 stores will then be shut down.

Ascena Retail is a holding company of several brands, including Ann Taylor, Loft, Dress Barn, and Lane Bryant. All in all, the company’s total revenues in recent years have decreased. The company plans to shut down hundreds of its shops in its entirety to cover for the damages. The overall number of locations is roughly 667, and by July this year, the first 400 should be closed.
