Ben let out a sigh. “All right, I’ll go in first. I’ll text you when you’re available.” Jamie, on the other hand, had had enough. He didn’t come here to give the bastard a chance to flee. He had no choice but to break into the house and catch his wife in the act. Whatever the deed may be.

Jamie yelled at his wife, demanding an explanation, “Stacy, please explain yourself.” “While I was sleeping, you and Lauren left, and when I woke up, you were both gone. You haven’t responded to any of my calls or texts, and you haven’t even bothered to leave a voicemail. Stacy entertained herself by playing with her fingers while she watched her daughter. “Lauren, sweety, you need to go play in the other room.”

Stacy got to her feet and proceeded to walk over to Jamie. She appeared to be in a glum mood, perhaps even guilty. She took his hand and prompted him to sit down before leaving the room. Even though Jamie was convinced that his wife had betrayed his trust while he was gone, his love for her was unending, and he followed her to the couch out of respect for her.

Jamie gasped and raced over to assist her in standing, but Ben and the other man with the bald head were already there. Because of how swiftly they were moving, he was unable to determine exactly what it was that they were doing. Jamie had the impression that they had completed this task in the past, which led to the emergence of more queries.

When Lauren entered the room, Ben and the man with the bald head had just finished putting Stacy on the couch. The expression on her face was one of concern and melancholy. At first, she assumed that she was simply a little bit stressed out, and that this was the reason why she wasn’t feeling well, but that it would go away in a short amount of time. On the other hand, as more time passed, she felt worse and worse. After much procrastination, she made an appointment with a medical professional, who informed her that she was gravely ill.

As time went on, she began to spend the most of her days in bed. She was unable to continue working or perform any tasks inside or around the home. She was fortunate enough to be able to get treatment at the hospital quickly, and they also supplied a carer who would assist her at home on a full-time basis. The caregiver provided assistance with preparing meals, cleaning the house, and transporting Lauren to and from school. After that, a light went on.
