Arrived home
They exited the vehicle as soon as they reached the residence shared by Jamie and Stacy. They assisted Lauren in making her way to the front door, and then Ben departed once more, leaving the family of three to their own devices. As soon as they entered the house, Lauren did not waste any time and walked straight to her bedroom, as she had probably anticipated that her parents would have a serious discussion.

Jamie and Stacy sat down on the couch facing each other and simply looked at each other for a while. When Stacy started crying, Jamie immediately gave her a hug. This just served to make her sob even more. As Jamie sat there with her, he had the distinct impression that whatever was going on was significantly more serious than he had anticipated.
