Toothbrushes need to be replaced every three months since they are a breeding ground for bacteria. One mom from Cambridge, Ontario thought she would be set for one year after giving her daughter Dory-themed toothbrushes, six to be exact. However, the young girl threw out her toothbrushes too soon and the stash lasted only a few months. The mom realized her mistake. She now puts an expiration date on each toothbrush using different symbols for the months. It was a perfect solution.
