The three of them agreed that they had to find out the answers to their questions. Even though Mallory and Cliff did not think it was all that urgent, Allan changed their minds. None of them was willing to let a suffering animal die out there in the cold. With that decision made, they started to go up to the iceberg.

It soon became clear to them that this animal was not a seal at all. After all, it had fur that had been completely soaked through. The wind was starting to chill the place, so this tiny animal might not make it. That was the moment they all knew they had no choice but to help out. While they still did not know what this creature is, they did not hesitate to act in the most compassionate way they could.
