Marsha Hunt began modeling in 1934, despite her parents’ wishes for her to pursue a university education. She moved into acting soon after, earning contracts with Paramount and MGM. Marsha is well-known for her parts in Born to the West, Pride and Prejudice, and Johnny Got His Gun. By the time Marsha retired in the early 1970s, she had moved her focus to progressive issues and organizations such as LGBTQ rights and climate change. She is the world’s oldest living actress and one of Hollywood’s final Golden Age stars.
