However, her affair with Rossellini was well documented, with their passion beginning during the making of the film “Stromboli.” Bergman and Lindstrom eventually divorced, and she began living with Rossellini. Despite producing a son and twin daughters, the couple’s marriage was difficult, and Rossellini’s alleged infidelity eventually led to their divorce in 1957.

However, DiMaggio’s military service during World War II strained their marriage, and the pair separated in 1944.
