Ringo Starr, the legendary drummer from The Beatles, met hairdresser Maureen Cox at the Cavern Club in Liverpool, England, in the early 1960s. The young couple married in 1965 and spent an amazing honeymoon in Sussex. The stunning lovebirds are pictured below wandering hand in hand through a beautiful countryside garden. The house they stayed at on Princes Crescent in Sussex was a loan from a friend. It was located in Hove, Sussex, and featured spectacular beachfront views and jaw-dropping mountain panoramas – the ideal place to escape the frantic hounding of the press.
