If you enjoy watching game shows, you are definitely familiar with Bob Barker because of his long tenure on ‘The Price Is Right.’ He served in the United States Navy during WWII, but after coming to California in the 1950s, he decided to pursue a career in radio. His first memorable gig was hosting ‘The Bob Barker Show,’ a radio show, and then he made his game show debut with ‘Truth or Consequences.’ Barker, who is 97 years old, no longer appears on television because he declared his retirement in 2007. He received nineteen Emmy Awards over his career.

Thelma Barlow – Age 92
Because her father died when she was a newborn, Thelma Barlow was raised by her mother. She honed her acting skills after joining the Joan Littlewood Theatre Group. It was a watershed moment in her life because she had previously worked as a secretary for eight years. Barlow began acting in the late 1960s, but her breakout role was as Mavis Riley on ‘Coronation Street.’ She was a regular on the show from 1971 to 1997. Her latest acting role was in the 2016 film ‘Florence Foster Jenkins,’ but she had an appearance on ‘Coronation Street Icons’ in 2021.
