The fact that Vivian placed fifth overall as the highest-scoring Australian in the group despite her fearful expression is a testament to her determination. The 27-year-old gymnast began her professional career when she was just eight years old, noting that her favorite apparatus is the uneven bars. With a sixth-place result in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, she contributed the highest score of the Australian team in that year’s games. She even participated for Oregon State University in NCAA gymnastics for four years, where she earned a bronze medal.
