Evening Stroll
Brianna was seven and a half months pregnant when the couple went for a walk, leaving the kids with Richard’s mother. They were discussing names for their upcoming baby with zeal. They already knew the baby would be a male. They were so engrossed in their chat that they didn’t notice the sky darkening and scary storm clouds coming in. The trees began to groan ominously, but the couple was lost in their own world.

The Storm Hits
The sky suddenly opened up, rain began to fall, and a massive roll of thunder rang out. It was immediately followed by blinding lightning strikes. Brianna and Richard exchanged worried glances and began to dash for cover. Brianna was slow with her enormous bulge, and it wasn’t long until Richard let go of her hand. She yelled, but a great flare of light illuminated the park. Brianna was on the ground the next thing she knew.
