Isis Temple

Today, several of these rocks are among the most well-known features of the Grand Canyon, appearing prominently in innumerable tourist photographs taken throughout the year. For example, the outcrop known as Isis Temple, located along the northern rim, rises to a height of around 7,000 feet above sea level. In the meantime, there’s a section of the Colorado River known as the Granite Gorge, which cradles it as it passes through the fissure.
