Furthermore, the campus is home to a variety of creatures, one of which being a falcon that resides atop the UT Tower. The Biodiversity Center, a group of Texas-based students and researchers dedicated to studying indigenous species, named this bird as Tower Girl. This species normally lays eggs once a year.

Aubie has represented the university on numerous occasions, ranging from football games to big events and all in between, for over thirty years. This university takes pride in its students, especially these female students, in addition to Aubie. It’s incredible to think that the university used to only serve male students. Willie Little, Katherine Broun, and Margaret Teague were the first women to attend Auburn University in 1892.
