He waited for the expert to explain what was happening, but she was deafeningly silent. She merely stared at Tommy, then at the book, then back at Tommy. She abruptly revealed something to him that he had not anticipated. “Kid, you need to leave.”

Tommy answered, “Ehm, okay…” “Aren’t you going to tell me what’s the deal with this book?” he inquired. But the woman had already turned away from him and looked to be making a phone call. When she yelled at him, he was about to grab the book and walk away.
