Robert Blake
With the murder of his wife in 2001, Robert Blake moved from being a kid star in MGM’s Little Rascals to being a cold-blooded killer. Bonnie Lee Bakley was shot in the head at point-blank range while riding in Blake’s vehicle. Blake was arrested in 2002 when two former stuntmen came forward and said that the actor had attempted to hire both of them to murder his wife on separate occasions. Blake was charged with attempted murder and was sentenced to prison. Neither man had a clean record when it came to substance addiction, which Blake used to his advantage throughout his trial. While Blake was initially found not guilty of Bakley’s death, a jury eventually judged him guilty of “intentionally” causing his death, and the court-ordered Blake to pay $30 million to Bakley’s children. He claimed to be available for employment after that, but, unsurprisingly, no job offers came through for him after that.

Jamie Kennedy
Jamie Kennedy is arguably most known for her role in Malibu’s Most Wanted. By 2012, Kennedy had reached the point where he needed to host a New Year’s Eve special broadcast on the CW network that was only shown in Los Angeles. “Now, when you hear the word ‘Asian rapper,’ you won’t just think of a little plastic bag that holds your fortune cookie,” Kennedy said in his opening monologue, referring to Psy (of the hit song “Gangnam Style”). In the end, he was unable to locate a clock at midnight, resulting in him missing the most important moment by a mere 10 seconds. To the surprise of many people, Kennedy admitted to the New York Times that the presentation was designed to be horrible. Kennedy stated that “it was completely planned out to be like that.” “We wanted to create something that was almost anti-New Year’s Eve.” Despite this, no one believed him and no one wanted to work with him because he was perceived as being entirely unprofessional by all.
