The photographer who caught this stunning shot deserves to be well compensated for his efforts! What exactly is going on here? While performing her floor routine, this gymnast was gripping a weighted gym ball. One of the motions is to move the ball from the tip of one hand’s fingers down the arm, over the chest, and up the other arm. The photographer captured this image just as the ball was passing from one arm to the other! Was he planning on taking this photo, or did it just happen? If that’s the case, we’re overjoyed. Way to go, dude (or woman; we have no idea who took this photo and don’t care!)

Birds, in our opinion, have it fairly nice in life. They get to fly throughout the world, see gorgeous sights from above, and hang around on telephone wires, silently evaluating everyone below them. Birds can even flutter around in small bird baths set up by people for their enjoyment. Today, this bird went swimming and splashed his way INTO ANOTHER DIMENSION. Just kidding, but that is a fantastic shot!
