Thor may have an opinion on which God controls the lightning above Rio de Janeiro, but Christ appears to observe the power…or so his statue suggests. Some people may be easily intimidated by this 100-foot-tall statue. But when this intense storm is combined with the sunlight in this photo, you get…well, you get this! Isn’t it fascinating how the lightning looks to be caressing the statue’s hand? What a powerful image!

When this guy jumped, he realized he needed to break the water with his hands before his stomach did! Contrary to common belief, we believe he made this dive. After all, his arms are bent, and his hands are the first to come into contact with the water. We could be mistaken, and this guy just did the world’s best belly flip! In any way, the people around him got saturated, even if they weren’t expecting it!
