Visiting Lebanon in 2006 influenced how Anthony Bourdain handled his future filming projects
Anthony Bourdain led a life filled with travel. Even though he may have struggled with money for much of his life, once he was able to afford it, he had no reluctance about traveling. His visit to Lebanon in 2006 turned out to be one of those trips that had the biggest impact out of all of them.
Lebanon hotspots

However, Anthony changed his focus to show how the locals were coping with the war in light of the circumstances. This reportedly motivated Bourdain to change the course of his upcoming filming endeavors.
