Evidently, he had such a busy schedule that he didn’t have much time to think about his fame. Additionally, Anthony allegedly developed a reclusive personality over time, with Bourdain choosing to film documentaries rather than dine with the crew and instead eating in his hotel room. Some may have thought Anthony was being impolite, but he didn’t seem to want to approach so many people.

Throughout his career, he published a lot of books, not all of which were about food. He seems to have been obsessed with graphic novels for the majority of his life.
