TPG claims that boarding later results in far less congestion at the gates and on the jet bridge. You also reduce the amount of time you spend on the actual airplane, which is a lifesaver for folks who detest traveling in addition to this social distancing trick. Your wait time is reduced by fifteen to twenty minutes if you board last.
