Emergency Surgery
A high-risk obstetrics consultant was referred for Katie. The doctor told her surgery was a must. In addition, he explained that she would be cut open like in a C-section. What comforting words!

Finally, the day of Katie’s surgery came. She was given socks and a surgery gown to put on. She was then taken by the nurse. Katie felt as if she was paralyzed. This was because she knew a giant needle would soon be stabbed into her.
